2 . Adjust the Exposure
You may notice when you touch your screen to focus that a yellow box will appear with a sun icon next to it.
To adjust the lighting in your photo, you can touch and hold the screen. Then move your finger up or down to adjust the exposure on your shot.
To get more precise control of the exposure, tap the arrow at the top of your screen. A bar will appear towards the bottom of the screen with a small plus and minus icon. 3 . Take Advantage of Portrait Mode
Apple’s addition of portrait mode unlocked a new level of iPhone photography. The basic portrait mode setting can make any portrait you take look professional.

Instead of opening your camera app manually, you can open it from your lock screen in a flash. Simply swipe your screen from right to left to open your camera.
Newer versions of the iPhone also have a camera icon on the lock screen that you can push to instantly open the camera app.
7 . Clean Your Lens
This may sound obvious, but keeping a clean lens is one of the most basic iPhone tips for clear photos. While the iPhone lens does have an oil repellant coating to prevent fingerprints, dust can accumulate on the lens.
